"We can’t say enough good things about our two night stay. Staff were so incredibly welcoming, kind and thoughtful. We had dinner the first night and wished we could have done the second too but had theatre tickets. Food was 5* both in flavour and presentation. We had the pleasure of meeting Ann the owner over dinner and the chef that evening , Charlie. Post dinner we sat by the fire where front of house immediately added more firewood. We also had the pleasure of meeting Angus, Ann’s son who was a funny and helpful young man. I am thrilled that this is where we started our trip."

"Location, location. This charming cottage is right across the street from lush green pastures and sheep. Just steps away is also a hotel that you can pop over for a drink or dine inside. This was the perfect location for our family to take day trips and return to our quaint cottage to enjoy a meal or warm up by the fire. We had a great stay!"
