Kill Devil Hills, Sleeps 8 in beds, 1 on couch, and 1 on fold-up rollaway bed in stored in Master Bedroom closet. Located at approx. mile marker 7.5

• Bedroom 1: Master with private bath; Queen, sleeps 2 (brand new Tuft & Needle mattress) Roll-away bed in closet.
• Bedroom 2: Queen, sleeps 2 (brand new Tuft & Needle mattress)

Unlike most other listings, we do not exaggerate our location to the beach. :) The Atlantic Ocean is two blocks East. The house is only 0.2 miles (north to First St) or 0.3 miles (south to Asheville Dr) to beach access. Walkable or bike-able! Both Beach Access's have parking and showers to rinse off and port-a-pottys.

We are a pet friendly home. There is a $75.00 non-refundable pet fee PER PET. Up to three (3) pets maximum: $225.00.

Minimum Cleaning Fee $170.00.

We love pets just as much as anyone, but please refrain from allowing pets on the furniture and beds. Excessive pet hair will require an additional cleaning fee.

All electronic items and beach supplies, including but not limited to, TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, cable TV, wifi access, beach cart, & beach chairs are maintained for the guests use but are not guaranteed. Owner reserves the right to substitute, change, replace or take out of service any nonworking units without repercussion for doing so.

***After using any of the beach toys/items, it is your (the Renters) responsibility to wash and wipe them clean of all SAND and SALT WATER after each use everyday and replace into shed and lock the shed. If you track sand into the shed, please sweep it out with the broom and dust pan provided!***

Nice Late Mother's Day Weekend Stay
My mom, daughter and I stayed here for the 2nd year in a row. Clean, nice house that is pet friendly. Close to the beach, close to many of the restaurants where we like to go eat, close to shopping. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate this year, so we had to make extra use of the hot tub! Thank you for a fabulous place to stay!

NH Blue Heron Haven guests
The blue heron is and was the perfect place for our small family of three to stay at! Clean and bright rooms made it welcoming for everyone, even the dog who loved the morning sun on the porch. The hot tub was a hit after a day at the beach and the outside shower made it easy to transition to a clean house! The location we found to be right where we needed, close to restaurants, shops, all the attractions we wanted to visit and of course all the beaches we wanted!! We will definitely be back to visit the OBX and if we don’t bring more people with us, the 3 of us will stay here again!

Lovely home, nicely decorated
Overall very nice place, liked the hot tub on deck and that we could have our pups with us! Had a few small issues, contacted owner that is local, and they were very quick to get back to us and try to help fix issues. The beach is close, but you really have to drive it as a pretty busy road to cross and no walking place available to get to the beach you have to drive up a few more block to find a parking area and beach access. Also, a very busy highway right behind the house, which was noisy much of the time, but we were only there in the evening and to sleep. Liked the screened in porch in morning to have coffee etc. Had a great trip and bed was very comfortable too!

Great house!
House was so clean, particularly so for being pet-friendly. Was great to be able to bring our pups and the kids loved the bunk room. Only flag is the walk to the beach access is more like .4/.5 mile to the first street access. Still doable though and always great to be on the ocean side of the highway. And can’t beat the convenience to Publix etc. Owners were communicative before and during and we had no issues!

nice get away
great weekend get away, very nice, clean and comfortable. had everything that you would need for a few days at the beach. the hot tub was an added bonus. neighborhood was quiet and the house is located close to main road with a grocery store right across the street. check in was a breeze , had a great time. absolutely would stay here again.
