The Galleria Guesthouse was once a haven for traveling artists who frequented Key West to find inspiration and show off their work in the nearby art galleries of Duval Street. With a tranquil pool area and spacious sundeck, The Galleria has been transformed into an oasis for all travelers looking for relaxation and inspiration during their time in Key West.

The Space:
Carey's Corner is a very small, 2nd floor studio offering a comfy Queen bed, en suite bathroom, and convenient kitchenette. The kitchenette comes equipped with a mini-fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and Keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee supplies. Enjoy free WiFi and cable TV during your stay in this cozy studio. There is also a shared laundry room on site that guests are welcome to use

Guest Access:
Our guests will receive two access codes prior to their arrival. One code will be used to access the hallway. The second, will be used to access the room.

Shared Features: Heated pool available from 8am - 10pm daily with lounge chairs, balcony and deck space, bike parking and picnic table.

The Neighborhood:
Bahama Village is a historic, mostly residential neighborhood just a few short blocks from the main strip of Duval Street. Visitors love this area due to its beautiful, Bahamian-inspired atmosphere, as well as its close proximity to famous attractions and amazing food options. Walk, bike, or scooter down to the Southernmost Point, Key West Lighthouse, Butterfly Conservatory, Truman Waterfront Park, and the Earnest Hemingway Museum. Enjoy some of Key West's most popular restaurants such as Blue Heaven, Santiago's, Firefly, and Rams Head Southernmost.

Getting Around:
There are a variety of great ways to explore Key West including by bicycle, pedi-cab, Moke, scooter, golf cart, Uber, Taxi, or by foot. As this unit is located in downtown Key West, many attractions are within walking distance. Feel free to ask us for recommendations!

Parking Information:

Please note that there is no designated on-site parking provided, however, free limited street parking is available on a first-come first-service basis. Should you find a parking spot, please note you can not park in one marked "Residential" and some spots may be pay-to-park on neighboring streets.

Other Things to Note:
- Please be advised that this studio is very small and might not be comfortable for some guests.
- There is a shared washer/dryer available on the first floor next to the pool area.
- Pets are welcome! Our requirements are as follows:

Awesome location! The description is accurate and was perfect for the two of us as we explored Key West. Hosts were very responsive. We did not find the neighborhood sketchy as one review described. Weekend getaway
Me and my fiancé wanted a weekend away after spending alot of time with family and him going back to work ( he’s in the military ) so we needed some much needed time together! I had never been to key west before and this place was PERFECT. it was the perfect location, amazing price, the hosts were amazing and so quick to get back to us about everything during the booking process and after! The place itself was the perfect size for just us 2, so cozy, and had everything we needed for our stay. I can’t wait to stay here again! It was lovely!

It was a nice experience. The property was a bit small for 2 people and a small dog. I would have liked a chair in the room or a small dresser to put your clothes. Other than that, the place was very clean and pretty.

It is uniquely compact. The bed pushed tight in a corner was a bit inconvenient for the one person. All utilities worked flawlessly. The digital codes to access the building/room had a slight learning curve but easy after that. The balcony & chairs were nice!

It was interesting to note that when we turned on the TV they were running a Tiny Home marathon. The room is tiny! But we were okay with that because all you need in Key West is a bed, shower and cool air. All were met for us. Property Management were exceptionally fast to answer any concerns. We were happy to be on the quiet side of town. Beds were comfy and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for my needs!
First of all, let me address any negative reviews you may see: ARE YOU HEADING TO KEY WEST TO SPEND ALL OF YOUR TIME IN A ROOM? No, you are not. This place is centrally located (in a week, I never needed a car), the room was clean, the bed was extraordinarily comfortable, pool was GREAT, washer/dryer, microwave etc. are all appreciated amenities. I rented a bike, and was never more than a few minutes away from anything. "Carey's Corner". reminded me of the place I had when I actually lived here. Space is at a premium, yes. (You are on an island!). But you basically need a bed, a shower, and some coffee, and the rest is gravy. 100% would stay here again.

We had a great stay. The building was beautiful and well maintained, and the pool in the back was GREAT to drink our coffees next to in the morning! The room is somewhat small but had everything we needed. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The property's location was perfect you could walk to everything that you needed to go to... The place was very clean... The pool was very nice... I hardly saw anyone it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves... The bathroom was very small and a little bit more European than I'm used to but everything worked well and was clean... Same for the actual living space it was very small but for just me and my husband it worked. We enjoyed our stay

Not the cleanest place. I'd give it a 6.5 of 10. Pool was ok. A little more attention needed to keep the green/black algae from starting and the skimmers were not on/working so there were times where there were lots of bugs on the surface. They don't have a place to hold your bags if you fly out later. Do not use Paradise Porter's for holding your bags. Rules may change and old man there is the rudest business person I think I have ever encountered.

We only stayed 3 nights but the room is deceivingly small. There was barely enough room for 2 people to move around and not much room to place your suitcases. I would recommend no more than 2 people and pack light! The shower doesn’t have a tub so the entire bathroom floor ends up getting soaked. Decent for a short stay, location was the best part!

Just What We needed!
I like a bathroom in my room and this place has it for the right price - plus, we were within walking distance, few blocks, of everything we wanted to see. We parked about 6 blocks away - no problem and had overnight bags. Would definitely recommend!
