"The lodge was lovely and very well appointed. The beds were comfy and everything was absolutely spotless. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of mould in the corner of the main bedroom which made the whole place smell quite a lot but other than that it was great! Personally I think a few touches such as hand soap and not being required to strip the beds at the end of your stay would make it better but these things donâ€™t take away from how beautiful the lodge is. "Lovely hotel in a beautiful village with great staff, the pool and leisure facilities are good also. It definitely needs a public bar that is open - I went to enter the Events bar but door was locked.. "

"The hotel is tired but do not let that fool you. What it lacks in appearance it makes up for in good service and friendliness. The room is dated but clean and the linen was spotless. The food was excellent. The man on reception also served at the bar could not do enough for you. The hotel is quirky but for the price and a decent nights sleep it was good enough for us"
