"The lodge was lovely and very well appointed. The beds were comfy and everything was absolutely spotless. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of mould in the corner of the main bedroom which made the whole place smell quite a lot but other than that it was great! Personally I think a few touches such as hand soap and not being required to strip the beds at the end of your stay would make it better but these things donâ€™t take away from how beautiful the lodge is. "Nice hotel, walking distance to the blacksmiths and all the gift shops. The room was a little dated but very spacious and clean. I loved the little fireplace heater. The staff was excellent and I enjoyed the breakfast. The only issue I had was the lack of outlets near the bed to charge your phone. I attended a wedding at Gretna and the reception was held here, I really enjoyed the dinner!"
