"We stayed at Mariposa when we arrived to Placencia and the last night before we returned home and it was perfect. Gladis was very welcoming at the reception, Donny was amazing at the restaurant and all the staff were friendly and very helpful. The bungalow was perfect for our family of 4, since they have bunk beds. The restaurant was good with a nice view of the ocean. They have nice swings, volleyball court, paddle boards and bicycles which is perfect to go in town. It’s less than 5 minutes drive from Placencia airport. The only thing is the ocean has so much seaweeds that it wasn’t nice to go in the water. Which is fine since we didn’t stay at this hotel for the ocean but just be aware that this strip of the island gets a lot of seaweeds…"

"We had an amazing time at Sirenian Bay. We stayed in the off season which made it feel like we had the whole resort to our selves at times. Everyone was so kind and helpful. There were people maintaining the grounds at all times which shows they really care about their little slice of heaven. The food was super fresh and always delicious. "My family and I stayed at Seiri Del Mar, and we just left this place!! we’re visiting Hopkins. We usually stay at another place nearby, but they were booked up so we gave this resort a try. It exceeded our expectations and now this will likely be our new spot!!! The staff was welcoming, professional, and helpful with any questions we had. I believe the lady who checked us in was Eseri . She walked us to our room, welcome us to Hopkins, and ensured we had all the information to make our stay pleasant. We were treated to a complementary cocktail at the beautiful restaurant on site. Our room had everything we needed, including a coffee maker and washer and dryer. Our view from the room and living area was beyond amazing. Everything about our trip here felt beautiful and peaceful. My family loved the pool and especially that it also had a Jacuzzi! The beach grounds were kept very clean, with maintenance raking the sand every morning. We were able to go paddle boarding, and kayaking at the beach in front of the resort, as all of these amenities were available to us. We felt very safe, with 24/7 security at the gate. I really can’t say enough great things about this place. You just have to check it out for yourself!! "
