"We had a lovely stay in this rustic Cape Breton cottage! The building itself is quite old, and shows its character. It was good for three people, but would be tight for a family or larger group. There's no direct beach access, but it's a 2 minute drive away (or less), and the water was beautiful. Note that any major shopping or necessities will have to be gotten in Sydney, about half an hour away, so plan for that. "If you like to be secluded then this is the place..Beautiful setting with the water right there. The house came fully equipped, except fans because of no air and a regular coffee maker, but we made it work..We would of enjoyed the outdoors more but Mother nature had other plans. "Great place and location. Included golf was excellent. Hard to just go for a walk from the property as it was a busy road but in town for walk wasn’t far to drive. Baddeck had everything you needed and the whole Cabot Trail was there to explore as well. Unfortunate that we had Hurricane Lee come through and the weather was not stellar but made the most of it and it could have been much worse if we were in the direct Hurricane path."
