"What can we say this place took our breathe away! Such a beautiful setting with the accommodation set right amongst the natural surroundings of how these animals should be seen. The staff again like at Tsala in Plettenberg were amazing and can’t do enough to help you during your stay and after too. The guides are extremely knowledgable and welcome all questions and make you feel very comfortable and at ease during the game drives. For anybody wanting a unique safari experience with game animals...

"Check in and reception was non existent, there was no one on site to meet us, the entrance gate did not work and couldn't be locked. After waiting around for almost 45 minutes, we were forced to leave and find other accomodation. "

The food was simply spectacular at both breakfast and dinner and the setting overlooking a pond with weaver birds is very special. The photos dont do justice to the welcome you receive as the futnishings are a little old school, but the room size and facilities are very good. "The Intle Game Lodge is a wonderful place and I'd highly recommend it. As there are no natural predators in the grounds guests are free to walk and get really close to the giraffes, zebras and various types of boek that roam around the beautiful setting. The pool and deck area have stunning views and it was such a relaxing stay for us. The staff at Intle are very helpful and worked hard to make our stay comfortable and unique. "Beautiful place, in the middle of nowhere, peacuful and calm. Excellent staff who organized a trip around the elephant park which was amazing( inc. a lovely bbq.) Kayla made us 2 amazing meals each evening and is such a lovely and engaging person. "

"If you want to be in the middle of nowhere in your almost private African safari with giraffes on site then you should consider staying here. Is it luxury? No, but do you get great space, views, comfortable lodge and great service? Yes. More 3 than a 4 star and it does need a little love. We really enjoyed our stay and with a full kitchen/ own brai area in the accommodation it is a great place to go with the kids or family for self catering. We went half board and food was good.
