"The hotel taxi took us to another hotel, offering no explanation. This hotel was further from the port. Arriving late (around 11pm) it was disappointing to find no water in the room and that the bar was closed. The room looked good, but had not been properly cleaned. However they gave us breakfast and offered us a swim in their pool"

"When we arrived there was no one there to greet us. One of the gentlemen that lives there ended up letting us in, as we didn’t get any responses when calling the numbers on the door. The room was small. Most of the light bulbs were burnt out. The water from the faucet was a dark orange color and sprayed water and made violent noises. Had the run the tap for around 5 minutes just to get clear functional water. The wifi didn’t work. We contacted the property manager via VRBO the personal said this...

"Loved our stay at Katerina's apartments! Very basic apartment, not anything fancy at all but great for travellers on a budget and had everything we needed. Only note is that we had the most random cooking appliances, like a frying pan but no spatula .etc. - little things like this could be added to make cooking at home easier. It was a good 20-30 minute walk into the Old Town but please be aware that it's VERY steep. We're fit girls in our mid 20's and found the walk home quite hard work in...

"AK Mykonos was the perfect boutique style hotel situated in Mykonos town.Clean and renovated rooms. There is no front desk but anything you needed was a text away and the host will message you every morning to check if there’s anything you’re in need of. Perfect hotel in terms of location, near all the shops, clubs/restaurants and a 2 mins walk from the center where you’ll find the buses/taxis. Would book again next time I visit Mykonos. "
