"We had a wonderful time at the lodge! We had three families in our group with 11 kids ranging in age from 2-9, and they all had a blast! It's super nice having 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Plenty of space for people to spread out and hang out together. We visited in August, and the pond had 2 canoes and 1 paddle boat. We brought our own life jackets and we all fished and went out on the boats every day. There are water snakes, so just watch for those. We went into town and got coffee and ice...

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. We had 3 families with two children and it met all of our needs. It was wonderful to have us all under one roof and space to spread out on the deck. "Stayed here with a group of friends for 2 nights for a Hawkeye football game. Location was nice. About a 10 minute walk from the edge of downtown and then another 20 or so minutes to the stadium. The furnishings were pretty basic, but the place was very clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have 2 beds in them. So it works well for a group. Suited our needs just fine and I would stay again if in town for a game. "
