Aloha and welcome to Mahana #1003. We named our special getaway "Nani," which means "beauty" in Hawaiian, for the breathtaking view from our ocean-front vacation home. This spacious 10th floor studio condominium is ideal for viewing the famous Maui rainbows and sunsets. From the comfort of your private balcony watch whales, dolphins, and turtles swim by, and enjoy the 180-degree unobstructed view of the ocean, the beach below, and the islands of Lanai and Molokai.

The unit has central air conditioning* and a fully equipped kitchen for those who enjoy cooking. The living room has been remodeled with wood flooring, a king-sized bed with high-quality mattress and a new sofa sleeper to accommodate a third person. If you need to work remotely, there is excellent Wi-Fi, a printer and long-distance calling to the United States and Canada.

The Mahana is located at the northern end of the famous Kaanapali Beach, with miles of beach to explore and calmer water ideal for snorkeling and swimming. The adjacent beach boardwalk, which leads to Whaler's Village and beyond, is perfect for walking or jogging. There are restaurants, food trucks, and a grocery store all within walking distance. Only minutes away by car, you can enjoy a wide range of excellent restaurants from Lahaina north to Kapalua. Whale watching, fishing, snorkeling, and sailing excursions are available at the nearby Whaler's Village, and there are golf courses in Kaanapali and Kapalua. Additionally, West Maui has beautiful hiking trails, horseback riding and volunteering opportunities.

The Mahana at Kaanapali is a luxurious AAA-approved resort ideal for a romantic getaway, offering a quiet and safe environment for guests of all ages. The resort offers complimentary parking, an oceanfront pool and hot tub, two BBQ grill areas, a complimentary tennis court with pickle ball setup, and a shuffleboard court. An onsite concierge is available to help plan activities.

Additional features of the studio include simple self-check-in | keypad lock | washer/dryer | iron/ironing board | hair dryer | blender | rice-cooker | icemaker| filtered water pitcher | binoculars | closet and dresser.

**Important Notice About Construction Work:**
• Discounted pricing: Rates have been lowered to reflect this construction. No additional discounts will be provided for bookings made on or after January 8, 2025.
• Acknowledgment: By booking a stay from March 24, 2025, to August 28, 2025, guests acknowledge the construction's impact on their visit. Maui Westside is not liable for these disruptions, and no additional discounts or reimbursements will be provided.
• *Schedule Changes: The dates may change due to weather, unexpected damage, or additional repairs. We will do our best to update the schedule as we are informed, but any changes are outside our control, and we are not responsible for them. If you have questions about your dates, please contact us for more information before booking.

Please note the following construction schedule for the building:
• Work begins: March 24, 2025*
• Work ends: August 28, 2025*
• No air conditioning: From April 21 to June 27, 2025* (Maui Westside Properties may provide a portable AC unit for guest use in the condo but this is not guaranteed.)
• Excessive Noise: begins April 21, 2025 & continue for approximately 30 days

Construction Details:
• Pre-construction mobilization will begin on March 24, 2025. This includes hoisting materials to the roof, installing barricades and other safety precautions, setting the crane in place, etc.

• The HVAC outage for the entire building will occur on April 24, 2025 and service is expected to return on July 16, 2025.

• Very noisy work (due to roof demolition) will commence on April 21, 2025 and continue for approximately 30 days. There will be other shorter durations of noise throughout the project.

• Note there will be periodic outages of water to the units but will be turned back on before the end of the construction day.
The contractor will do its best to provide advanced notice where possible.
