"Dont book the room for 3 persons because you can only reach it via a strange (self-built?) elevator. In case of electricity cut or or fire you will trapped in the room and cannot escape. No bathroom/toilett in the room so that you need to go by elevator up and down. The room can also not be locked. "

The room has it's own access door, so I was able to take my dog in and out without disturbing the house. It's quite remote,but satnav takes you right to the door, although I wasn't clear how to access on arrival as there were two houses, however both are owned by the same couple, so didn't take long to figure it out. "Great place to stay, lovey building with use of lounge areas, kitchen and gardens. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable with an en-suite. Staff very friendly, accommodating and helpful, would definatly stay here again and have no hesitation to recommend it. "

"This was a stopover going South and returning two weeks later, so only two nights in total. It is beautifully appointed, the bedrooms (en suite) are amazing and breakfast typically continental (bread, croissants, fruit juice, yoghurt etc) No evening meal available but an excellent restaurant within half a mile (ask madame) Would happily stay there again should the opportunity arise Very useful to have at least a smattering of French as I'm not sure she speaks any English, but, don't let that...

"This was a last minute booking but the owners responded almost immediately, great response. I receive a warm welcome from the owners, Very friendly. The cottage has everything you could ask for. It's on a farm location with views and animals on the doorstep. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy lounge with wood burner and french and english tv, I will be rebooking to take to family on our next visit."
