"We stayed as a family of 3 in the fantastic Maine cottage. We relaxed with the million dollar view of the ocean. It didn’t feel like real life being there. Everything was as expected. Quaint, slightly rustic, and homey. I cooked up breakfast each morning and then relaxed on the beach while looking for cool shells. My daughter became a fan of finding sea glass. Having grown up in Minnesota, we have similar cabins on our lakes and this felt like home to us but close to all the uniqueness that Down East Maine has to offer. We visited Acadia, Bar Harbor, Schoodic, Winter Harbor and even took a trip to Lubec. Watching the sunsets and the tide coming in each evening were a highlight. Thanks to Pam and Amy. The instructions to enter were clear. Pam called us beforehand to give us details of where exactly to find the cottage. So incredibly nice and helpful! Highly recommend this authentic, family friendly stay!"

"We had a crowd of family members in our main house so my wife and I booked this property via VRBO. We unexpectedly needed to check in early so the owner made a special trip that morning just for us. The view is spectacular. The cottage is cozy but perfect for a couple. Super clean, tasteful nautical decor, updated appliances with quaint mid-century elements. Loved it!"

"We had a fantastic stay! The house was clean, quiet and comfortable and waking up to a fresh sea breeze every morning was energizing. We went swimming nearly every day and took several area hikes. We also loved the proximity to Canada, and did a day trip to Campobello Island. Our only complaint: We couldn't stay longer! We can't wait to come back."

"We loved staying here! The cottage was comfortable, clean, and a little larger than we were expecting! The shower was a little small…but that wasn’t a deal breaker. Loved having coffee and reading on the deck. We got to observe a lobsterman checking his traps. We made several trips to Milbridge for groceries and a meal. The highlight was the Catch Your Own Lobster (most of us watched) Boat Trip…lots of seals…and a delicious lobster dinner at the dock. If we lived closer, we would do it all again!"
