"This place is just a lot less glamorous than the listing would imply. We had 9 adults in our group but this cabin only sleeps 6 max. So we had to rent a second cabin for full price. The manager was helpful tho and answered our questions. "

"We had a lovely time as a family sharing this beautiful vacation rental. The property is elegant and well-maintained, there is good climate control inside, and the beds are comfortable. The lake is crystal clear and pristine, and we did a lot of swimming and used the canoe and kayaks. Getting to the lake was easy for all but one of our group, who has mobility issues; access is down a long hill with a pea gravel path. Overall, it was a lovely cottage holiday and we would recommend it to friends. "

"Online information false/misleading and the property is completely unsuitable for anyone with even minor mobility issues. I was booked for two nights but left after one and went to a motel. - notwithstanding what the website advertises, this cabin does NOT have a bathroom. A bathroom is available in the main house, 50 or so meters away. It is not separate from the host's living space (i.e. not private). "We had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with this property. They call it a "Family Fun Lakehouse," but I would strongly disagree with that label.First, do NOT agree to any arrangements outside the Vrbo platform. If they call or message you directly, I highly recommend asking them to communicate through Vrbo only. "Basic cottage. We appreciated air conditioning and view. Exterior chairs where all broken, had to wash dishes, dirty floors. BBQ had no grill so took neighbors, was rusty and very dirty. "The stay was amazing, we were initially apprehensive about the lack of washroom in the cabin but the guest bathroom was fantastic and so close-by to the cabin.The bed was extremely comfortable and the fire made the cabin nice and warm despite the subzero temperatures outside. The property has has spectacular views we only wish we could've stayed longer."

"Dirty, no sheets or dish clothes, toilets not bolted to the floor, water smells like an outhouse. Owner uncooperative and rude."

"The listing did not include much detail, looking back it should've been a warning sign. It's a beat up property that is part of a trailer park type of "resort" as they pompously put it on their signs at the location. Expect to be disappointed if you do book it."
