"A really cozy and comfortable room with an incredible view, in an amazing location. Walking over the headlands to Dunnottar Castle was an incredible experience. The view from our room was beautiful, this is such a magical location. Breakfast was delicious, and staff were helpful and very personable. It was a highlight of our three week tour of Scotland."

"Amazing stay. Historic house set in beautiful grounds. Amazing that they allow dogs also in such a nice place. Fantastic sand beaches right next to the hotel. Service was excellent, really enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Breakfast was delicious…. Best hotel breakfast I’ve had. An EV car charging point would make this hotel even better as there’s hardly any around in the area and would be great for over night guests to charge whilst there. "

"Sheila and Mick were wonderful hosts. The breakfasts were great, the room was simple but clean and perfect for a single traveler. I dropped my wallet outside the car and 2 people got it inside to Mick for safekeeping! I hope to be back next year!"
