"This property is a jewel. This is where they should have filmed "On Golden Pond." It is very private, yet only 20 minutes from I-95 and major supermarkets, etc. If you are looking for piece and quiet, security, a delightfully private pond and a stunning view of the opposite, natural, shoreline with no other cottages, this is your place! Beds are very comfortable with good quality linens and blankets. Kitchen is well equipped and the appliances are of very good quality. Plenty of wood is supplied for those cozy fires at night. The moment you pass through the security gate, you are greeted with a stunning view of the lakes and mountains beyond. My wife & I have rented many upscale properties all over the country and this is near the top in satisfaction. The property manager, Roger, even gave me a courtesy call a few days before arrival just to answer any last minute questions I might have. That was a nice touch. During my 2 weeks stay, he was always accessible if I needed him. We would definitely rent again! Len from NH"

"The photos don’t do this house justice. It was perfect for 7 of us (3 adults and 4 teenagers). The living room had plenty of comfortable seating for movie nights. The outside covered wrap around porch was great for a morning coffee and quiet read before the kids got up. The house is so well appointed, anything you need you will find. The pond is really large (we were looking up what classifies a lake vs a pond) and super clean. If you’re looking for a quiet out of the way escape, Amy’s house is perfect. "

My husband and I spent our 14 year wedding anniversary here and we just can’t say enough about it! It was a wonderful getaway we will not forget! We will definitely come back! "

"We booked this property for a large family reunion and had high expectations, but the stay was very disappointing. The water situation was unacceptable—barely enough to flush toilets, no dishwashing, no cooking, and no showers. Some of us went three days without showering. For the price we paid, this should never happen.The property manager admitted he was trying to get a plumber, but the issue was never resolved. Communication was slow, and I didn’t get a clear response about a refund until long after we had to make decisions on our own.To make matters worse, the host suggested someone in our group left an outdoor faucet open, which was not the case. This felt like an attempt to deflect blame instead of taking responsibility.Beautiful space, but the basics weren’t there. I would not recommend this rental unless you’re okay with the risk of having no running water."
