"I’ll be honest - we wouldn’t have chosen to stay but the marathon was on and the city was v busy. Our first hostel experience was good, staff were great - really friendly and helpful, breakfast was fine, the place was clean and bright with a real diverse mix of ages of guest ( we are 50s). Walking into town was easy and quick. Room was en suite and basic but fine- worst but was the waterproof mattress covers and pigeon noise from the courtyard. "

"Very quite location and walkable from the Salzburg station. There are also buses which which stops right opposite to the property. The check-in was smooth and lady at the front desk was very friendly and explained the city and made very useful recommendations for places to visit. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Very nice hotel with unfortunate shower
"Checkin was a breeze. There was a bus of tourists checking in and I was concerned I’d be waiting an hour to check in behind them but I got waived right to the front as they were being checked in as a single group, which I greatly appreciated. Room was very nice and very clean. The room is absolutely sound proof. We chose to sleep with the window open and still could barely hear anything. Parking is included with your stay and the instructions were very clear. The singular downside was the shower. The shower head holder was loose and rusted so the shower head couldn’t stand upright, and when you tried to adjust the overall height, the whole thing would come apart. The water temperature also changed rapidly from ice cold to boiling lava hot as well. Even having had this happen however I absolutely would stay at the hotel again."
