Targhee Creek Cabin by Yellowstone Park

Welcome to Targhee Creek Cabin, our little piece of paradise. This newly renovated cabin sits on 1.5 acres of land. The grounds are full of trees with occasional wildlife. There is also a year round creek (Targhee Creek) that runs right through the property. The cabin sits away from other cabins, nestled in the mountains that face Henry’s Lake. The mountains, creek, and lake guarantee beautiful views from every window. There are five bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living room and kitchen have an open layout leaving you with plenty of space to enjoy. In addition to the grounds being pretty, the location is near lots of great attractions. The cabin is only a 12-minute drive to Yellowstone Park, located close to Henry’s Lake access points, and near Quake, Cliff, and Wade Lakes. Mack’s Inn and Pond’s lodge are also just a quick drive away. It is also just around the corner from Yellowstone Playhouse where you can enjoy dinner and a show. If you like a little adventure there are Rzr, four-wheeler, and motorcycle trails close by and the Cabin has ample parking for your toy haulers. There isn’t a bad season to come stay at our cabin. Not only is summer and spring great, but during the fall you can see the leaves change color, and during the winter you can play in snow and ride snowmobiles. We know you will enjoy staying at our little piece of heaven.

Perfect, secluded spot to visit Yellowstone!

Great place! Nicer on the interior than expected! Very close to the town of West Yellowstone and Yellowstone’s West Entrance. Secluded and private! Loved the fire pit area next to the creek!

First Family Yellowstone Trip

This cabin was spacious and perfect for our family. We enjoyed our stay. The kids had a blast exploring outside, playing on the zip line and making smores by the fire! Close to West Yellowstone Entrance but also enough away from congestion which was perfect!

Beautiful place

Great place to stay. Only 20 minutes from west Yellowstone national park entrance. Plenty of room for all 10 of us. The kids loved the back yard zip line and swing!

Family Trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons

This was exactly the type of place we were looking for when searching for a "base camp" for our trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. This home is located off a main hwy, but feels very secluded. The home was clean and suited my family very well.

Lovely Yellowstone Getaway

The property is very well maintained and perfect for a large family. We loved the firepit by the creek and wifi. We didnt realize the property was adjacent to the highway, but the truck noise wasn't really an issue. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Wonderful spot

We had a very lovely stay as a group (8 adults). The property was exactly as listed and pictured. Beautiful, comfortable and very clean. It was actually just under 20 minutes from the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

We loved it!

This home was great! It was clean, well-equipped, and nicely decorated, making for a very comfortable stay. Our family of five (three kids ages 17-21) especially enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor space near the creek, which was moving pretty fast during our stay. Beds were comfy and hosts were responsive. We all agree we would stay here again if we return to the area.

Perfect location, Fun for all

Our time at this home was a perfect mixture of fun and relaxation. The kitchen was well equipped and everything in good working condition. The beds were comfy and we all had restful sleeps. The fire pit was the perfect spot for making yummy s'mores. When we return to the area we will be reserving several more nights in this lovely home :)

Yellowstone vacation

We had such an amazing stay. Host was very responsive when we had questions! Everything went perfect! When we come back to Yellowstone we will look ti see if this property is available. Not in the commotion of west Yellowstone but close and still feels secluded! Perfect trip.

Big enough for everyone!

Beautiful place to have the whole family! We had 5 adults and 5 kids (4-12 years). Kids loved the zipline and we all loved the fire pit - s’mores! It as just perfect with the sound of the stream right outside. Close enough to run into Yellowstone every day! Saw deer in the front yard too.

Newly updated cabin in a perfect location

This was such a fun place for my family to stay while we were visiting Yellowstone. It was nice to be close to Yellowstone, while still being far enough away that you don't have to be surrounded by tourists. The cabin is situated on such a fun creek, and we enjoyed making s'mores in the fire pit right next to it while it was snowing. My kids especially loved the zip line! The cabin seems to have been recently renovated/updated. The inside has a very clean and modern feel, new carpets, nice decor. All the appliances are new and very functional. There was no "muggy/humid" feel inside, which we have experienced at other cabins, so that was a huge plus in our book! The beds were comfortable, and my kids enjoyed playing the Nintendo upstairs. The owners take very good care of the property, and were quick to communicate when we had questions. We would definitely recommend this place!!!

Kids loved the zip line

We were a party of 11 (6 adults) and had plenty of room for all. Cabin interior has been remodeled and is wonderful. Very rustic and comfortable. Cabin only 15 minutes to Yellowstone. The younger kids loved the zip line and always wanted to ride it, but it does take adult help. Firepit was another popular place for kids and adults. Suggest buying firewood since logs at cabin are so dense they did not stay lit. Road is a little noisy at night, since weather was particularly warm, bedroom on lower level did not have a overhead fan, so had to sleep with window open and it was rather noisy, otherwise noise from road is not noticeable. Overall was a great place to stay with family.

Awesome Getaway

A group of 6 guys came out to do some fly fishing in Montana and Yellowstone National Park. This place had everything we needed. The owners/managers were very easy to work with and responsive. We enjoyed being able to make a fire next to the stream several of the evenings we were there. Overall it was just an awesome place! I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

AWESOME accomodations

11 Adults, 2 children and we had a blast, the property was in a great location for popping in and out of Yellowstone's W entrance, it had everything we needed, including a waffle maker. The outdoor fire pit and creek were a huge plus. We will return!!!

Loved this place

We absolutely loved this property. We had kids ages 6-14 and they loved the zip line and creek. The older members in our party loved the porch swing. The property was beautiful and secluded and the house was lovely.
