Walkable from the rail station and walkable to the city center, where you will find the beautiful Salisbury Cathedral, which also houses the Magna Carta in its Cloisters. "The stables are in an amazing location. Right on Lyndhurst high street. The kitchen and living spaces were brilliant for our large group of 16 adults and 10 kids. Loads of seating. Loads of plates, mugs, glasses. Plenty of parking - easily managed 7 cars.But the standard of cleanliness was very poor, particularly in the bedrooms. We found empty vapes, dirty tissues and cotton buds, cigarettes, nasty stains on the floors and more worryingly, the condition of the mattresses. Some looked like...

"Paid £74 for a room with no kettle or TV, and wasn't even ensuit, so for me the price was about £24 too much, the bathroom was right next to my room, and the girl in another room was in and out to the bathroom all night, and then decided she was going to have a shower at 6.30am and then dry her hair, the room was comfortable and there was a kitchen and TV downstairs but nowhere to sit and watch TV as. The 1 armchair was covered in laundry and I didn't fancy sitting on a stool at the kitchen...

"The hayloft gave our 2 families enough flexibility and space to be really comfortable. The bedrooms had ample storage and everything looked fresh and clean. Staying so close to a pool meant that the children were able to have fun before and after a day out. The owners were friendly and invited us to explore the farm where the five dogs led us on a walk up along a stream and back, as long as we threw enough sticks for them to catch!
