Hubberholme is an old village in the Yorkshire Dales, England, at the point where Langstrothdale meets Wharfedale. The village was a favourite place of writer and playwright J.B. Priestley. The Norman church, St Michael’s & All Angels, is the resting place of his ashes. The George Inn, which is the whitewashed building here, is over a bridge opposite the Church. A lit candle sits on the bar when the pub is open and serving. This is a tradition from local auctions for agricultural land or grazing. These are still held in The George and the last bid to be received before the candle goes out is the winner. #GreatOutdoors

"We arrived in the dark which was an experience! When we got inside it was lovely, with a warm and cosy feeling. Rooms were lovely and everything was very clean. "This property was well position in Skipton. We stayed here whilst attending a family wedding and it was perfect for our needs and accessible to all the places we needed to be."

"We stayed for a week in February and didn’t want to leave. The Cottage is a home away from home and has everything we needed and much more. The kitchen had everything needed for us to cook each day. The log burner was a special treat. Great WiFi and TV, very comfortable bed and nice and warm central heating.
