"Room was comfortable and the bathroom was lush especially the bath 😀 The staff were very friendly The breakfast was tasty and catered for my husbands love of fried bread An all round great stay, would definitely come again and recommend "

"Very basic. We only needed a bed for the night. Did not notice it was in a pub. But the girl who attended us was nice and did a good breakfast in the morning."

"Room over priced for the time of year. Food fair and over priced. Ordered a bowl of fries which were £3.95 and only worth about £1.50 and were not hot. "

"I am utterly disgusted that this place is even still open, arrived at 7:50pm and told we had to find food elsewhere as kitchen shuts at 8pm, then was told they were not aware we had a room booked and she would have to call owner to confirm! Said she would call us back while we found something to eat as his phone went to voicemail!!!!! We then get a call to say yes they have made a room up! I then asked if they were aware we had a full English breakfast the next morning… again no they didn’t!!...

"We have no pets. Great to have pubs, restaurants and tourist destinations nearby. We did not want to drive anywhere so the hotel location is perfect."
