Relax Poolside At This Stylish Townhouse - Porters Gate 24

Minutes away from beautiful beaches and amenities, Porters Gate 24 is located in a prime position on the West Coast of Barbados. As you walk into the townhouse, the air-conditioned open plan living and dining area opens up in front of you with the kitchen fully outfitted with all you'll need while on vacation. Stairs to the left will lead you up to the two bedrooms and en-suite bathroom - each bedroom has A/C, a ceiling fan, and a private patio. Back on the ground floor the spacious open plan living area opens up to the covered patio with additional al fresco dining and comfortable lounge furniture. The pool glistens in front of you - a welcome sight in these sunny Barbadian days! Make use of the BBQ while you enjoy the pool. This is the perfect home for relaxing!

There is also a communal pool and tennis courts available for all guests staying at Porters Gate to use. Less than ten minutes walk away is the beautiful "Juju's" beach (as known by locals) which has a great beach bar with casual food and drinks - an ideal spot for spending the day or sundowners. To the south there is also Colony Club beach and Holetown beach.

A helpful property manager is a phone call away should you need a hand with anything. We are island-based and knowledgeable about Barbados. Let us help you plan a fantastic holiday!

Wonderful stay

We loved our stay. Home was impeccably clean, amenities were great. The location is very good, buses run frequently to take you into town. Lots to do nearby, great beaches nearby. Just a great residence.

Great spot if you want to get away from the crowds. Beach 15min walk. Small grocery store close by but pricey. Main town is 35min walk. Some restaurants close by. Overall great place.

GREAT VILLA

Just spent two weeks in Porters 24, very nice well equipped unit. ac works great, pool was nice at the end of the day. We used the bbq a lot. would definitely return.

This townhouse was nice, safe, and clean. The private pool was great. It is about a 15 to 20 minute walk along a busy road to the closest beach, and Holetown is about 25 minute walk. We didn’t rent a car (the driving on the left thing) and relied on taxis, friends, walking, or the Pick Up Barbados app to get around. There is a small grocery store (Ryan’s Happy Place) about a 5 minute walk away that you can get essentials during your visit.

We all had wonderful time staying at 24 Porters Gate. The house is very comfortable the A/C was brilliant and any problems were dealt with in a timely fashion. The pool was absolutely brilliant and we just loved it, and even though we travelled a very long way we hope some day soon to return as we loved Barbados we found the people there so friendly and helpful. All in all an excellent holiday.

We had a lovely time at Porters Gate. The house was large, clean, and the beds comfortable. We got help with taxis every time we needed it, communication was excellent. It was great to have some mosquito candles and repellent there already when we arrived, as well as dishwasher tablets etc. The pool guy as well as the cleaning lady were very friendly and thorough. Overall excellent value!

We had a lovely stay at Porters Gate 24. Conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the beach and few minutes drive from Folkstone Marine Park (spectacular snorkelling destination) and Holetown (great restaurants and shopping). The unit was very clean, modern and well equipped. The backyard was a nice private oasis and the kids had a blast in the plunge pool. The owner and property management team were very kind, responsive and professional. Definitely recommend.

The BEST Villa in Barbados

We absolutely loved our time at Porters Gate. The villa was our perfect "home away from home" while in Barbados. It was spacious, clean, and perfectly suited for a couple or small family. We especially enjoyed the splash pool in the backyard! Our house keeper was so friendly and did a fantastic job. The staff managing our rental was very responsive and extremely helpful. They did everything to make sure our vacation went smoothly including organizing our rental car drop off. We cannot recommend the Villa enough!!!! It was perfect in every way!

We spent 2 weeks here and had the most amazing time. The location is perfect as you can jump on buses easily or walk to beaches along the west coast. The pool was cold but the communal pool was much warmer so we spent a lot of time there. The villa is very well equipped and has a bbq too. It feels warm and homely and the communication was great with BSL rentals - we had a few issues but they were sorted very quickly. Wouldn't hesitant to return.

We had a great stay at the house - it had everything we needed and our son loved the little pool. It's an easy 10 minute walk to the beach down a shady lane, and there's fantastic restaurants walking distance too. The buses stop at the end of the road for Holetown/Bridgetown so it's easy to get around without hiring a car. The guestbook inside the property has great local recommendations! The house is inside a gated development, a new development is being built nearby but we didn't hear any building noise from the property.

The town house is comfortable and basic with a nice pool area. It is in a compound which can be a little noisy depending on who your neighbours are. There is a large grocery in Holetown about 10mins drive. A very nice French bakery that is about 15mins walk (only open in the mornings) and lots of beaches to walk to as well as other restaurants and a large shopping centre

Beautiful property but

Property was absolutely gorgeous. However the house had so many mosquitoes. I was bitten so badly I had a reaction. Woke up day after arrival with eye swollen from mosquito bite. I feel House should have been fogged before guests arrive.

24 Porters Gate is a beautifully presented and very well equipped townhome in a small gated complex near Holetown. The photos are very accurate and the house was a pleasure to stay in. The house has everything you could need for a few days or an extended stay. It is located within easy walking distance or a short drive from Holetown with all of the west coast shops, restaurants and beaches. Taunia was excellent in her communication from booking, right through to whilst we were staying at Porters. Check-in was very simple with codes to access the main gate and the lockbox to collect the key. Housekeeping was also excellent with regular linen and towel changes. All-in-all and thoroughly enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend the villa and of course BSL.

WOW. Rarely am I this impressed by a level of service demonstrated once - nevermind consistently - over a two week period. Shain, Kerrie and the Blue Sky Luxury Team achieved what few rarely do day after day - they continuously displayed personable, professional attention to detail and responsiveness of service. From the fast track at the airport, to stocking our kitchen, ensuring prompt repair of washer/dryer issues, suggesting best beach spots, amazing taxi service ... no question went unanswered! Porters Gate 24 on its own was an oasis of a home away from home that was elevated to a higher level with BSL's platinum service. The pairing of the two provided us with a blissful, fun-filled, relaxation inducing experience that we'll crave again and again. Blue Sky Luxury is now synonymous with Barbados! Thank you for setting the standard so high!
