"I had the BEST time staying at Glück Auf in Mayrhofen! It’s hard to choose what I enjoyed most because the property, staff, location and amenities were basically perfect. I LOVED the room, the amount of space and cute decor made us feel so comfortable. The view of the mountains were jaw-dropping. The property is modern and clean and very quiet. Such a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were INCREDIBLY kind and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious and we were excited to go every morning. You could not be closer to the ski lifts, and the ski room where you could store your gear after a long day on the mountain had heated boot racks! Unbelievable. Amazing restaurants were all nearby. Staff all speak English and are happy to help you plan your day skiing, even help inform you on snow conditions, and planning transport. I felt so taken care of. I would stay here every time I visit Mayrhofen. No need to look elsewhere. Amazing value. "

"Very good stay overall. Staff was friendly and helpful recommending things to do. They had a great fitness center and breakfast buffet was good. Also enjoyed the restaurant for dinner with reasonable prices. My only complaint would be the lack of a fan or the need to open the windows to keep room cool (and it's early March). Opening windows was fine, but let in a lot of road noise and they also opened up to what I think was a shared balcony, which takes away from the private feel. Otherwise though a nice stay. I would definitely stay here again as long as it was in the winter."

"A family ski trip with a non skier. Amenities at hotel were fantastic the location to Penken bahn was great with ski bus opposite. Food was fabulous and all staff were super friendly and helpful."

"Perfect apartment for us ,11 Adults + 6 kids, individual bedrooms with attached bathroom and the huge kitchen as family room. The kids enjoyed the pool, the freedom to run around and we adults felt very welcome too. Johanna and her family were always within reach. We definitely would come back."

"Lovely hotel with excellent facilities. Plenty of parking and a short stroll into the village. Our modern room was a good size, bed and pillows very comfortable and a very nice balcony overlooking the pools and village. Shower was good, so too the Wi-Fi. Breakfast was excellent with a huge selection of food and we ordered one bar meal which was very good. On Sunday and Monday they only serve pre booked set meals. We didn’t realise this and as we only wanted a salad then we were unable to eat. The relaxation areas and pools are great - comfortable loungers, plenty of towels and indoor/outdoor pools are heated 😊. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Maybe they could improve on English signage and communication? I only know basic German so found it a bit difficult at times."

"This was our first time staying at a kinderhotel and this place didn’t disappoint. There were endless activities to keep the kids happy and childcare available for all ages from 9am -9pm. Everything was so well thought through from the design of the rooms which had a built in bedroom for the kids and the sink heights - one for grown ups and one for kids. The kids pool had two depths which were perfect for my 2 & 4 yr olds meaning we could relax while they splashed about. The outdoor slide was a particular highlight for my boys, I think they’d have played on that all day if we’d let them. The dinners were so easy with buffets for the kids meaning no hanging around waiting for their food. And the quality of the food was top notch. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. Without doubt the most relaxing and fun holiday we’ve had as a family. And all this in the beautiful setting of the Austrian mountains with so much to do and see by the nearby lakes. Thank you for having us Familienparadies Sporthotel Achensee. "
