"Hotel has been recently renovated - rooms are modern, practical and clean - but tiny. Bed was very comfortable and shower was great. Breakfast is excellent. Limited food at bar but there are restaurants and take outs very close by. Only issue was room was very warm. no A/C. Reception provided a fan and i was able to open the windows. On the whole it was a great stay and will return."

"The location of the hotel is right next to the river, a lovely spot to relax. It's not far by car to the Krossbanen (closed for 2024), the Gaustabanen, and the Norwegian Industrial Workers Museum. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are not too many dinner options nearby, but there are some, although youll likely need a car. Breakfast was average. "

"The hotel was clean and comfortable with great service. The rooms are a bit small for 4 people but the kids said the sofa bed was comfortable. The food was great for breakfast and dinner but the options did not change the nights we visited. It is within a hour of a lot of local attractions and found out that the Olympic torch was lit at that location twice. The pool and hotel grounds are great for kids. They have sports and a play ground that includes a zip line. They also have electric car connections for a reasonable rate if you need them. Overall a very nice hotel. "

"We arrived here very late so only had a short experience but it was great. The room was very comfy and a decent size and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was the best we had on our Norway trip. Really varied and tasty with an amazing view of the mountains. We didn't get time to use the spa or other facilities but it was very convenient for heading up to Gaustatoppen."
