"I was in the area for work and thought this place would be good. Unfortunately, my colleague had a bereavement and could not come. I realise a refund was impossible of course ... the stay was imminent - but did think that if there was a mutually convenient time - something might be possible... I have done this with illness and this was the passing of a son... but I also paid for the breakfast for both rooms ... and even that was charged and not consumed! and apparently on arrival ... was advised...
