My sisters and I stay at HHR every year, so I’m comparing this unit to the others we’ve experienced at this resort over the last 15 years.
Unit was clean, with comfortable beds. The kitchen was adequately stocked with pots and pans etc. for our two week stay. Appliances are newer. The air conditioning was very good.
Some negatives were lack of storage (the closets have cleaning supplies, child gear, beach chairs, etc., so not much room for our things. If there is an additional storage locker for this unit it would be helpful as we had to haul our beach chairs, canopy, etc. in the elevator daily. As another reviewer mentioned, the living room furniture is not comfortable. Lastly, communication wasn’t good. I made my reservation six months before my trip, and was told their agent would contact me nearer to the trip date. That never happened. Luckily I was able to reach out to property management the day before arrival to get codes, but the security gate did not have our info and refused to allow the second car into the gate. This was resolved, however the owner never responded to me when I started getting worried about this and reached out a week ahead. It shouldn’t have fallen on me to follow up, as this is their business.
