"Once we opened the door, we were welcomed with a refreshing fragrance! The house was clean but the shower cubicle could be cleaner. The beds were comfortable and we had 6 beds for a family of 5! The kitchen was well equipped with a working fridge/freezer and microwave, which we used. We did not use the kettle, toaster or cooker but they were available. We easily got tea towels and kitchen tissue from Lisa local, which was only a few doors away from the property. The living room was spacious and...

"An early phone call on the day told us that there was a problem with the toilet flush! But the host was very amenable in giving us the choice of having the house next door instead if we wished. On arrival we chose the original booked house as it had a walk in shower rather than bath and managed to make the faulty flush system work. The communication for key code details was supposed to be 24 hours prior to check in but was only given on the morning. This did not give a feeling of certainty but...

"This place is far from lovely with no attention to detail. Furniture sporadically deposited in random rooms with a new kitchen that is little more than lipstick on a pig. Uncomfortable single beds, not a lamp or a bedside table to be found anywhere in the house. Owner is just out for a quick buck. Hotels.com need to inspect this place. Terrible experience save yourself and never stay here "
