"The room, and venue itself, was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of room for our weekend bags and hanging space for our clothes. The bathroom was also very clean and the shower pressure was good. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly the young lady who served our breakfast, and the kitchen staff kindly catered for my slightly awkward breakfast request. They were also quick to check whether I was fully vegan when I requested no meat or eggs, as the other items were to be cooked in butter. I really appreciated this attention to detail. The downstairs door (below our room) clanged heavily as other guests came upstairs, but in such an old building, I'm not sure there is much that could be done to mitigate this. But because the rest of our stay was so comfortable, we felt it was not that much of a problem, especially as it didn't continue for long. The cost is higher than we'd usually like to spend, but it felt worth the money for such a pleasant stay. "

"The hotel access is all code based so there is no staff on site. That being said the communication with host is great cia text/whatsApp - instant and prompt replies. Affordable too and great location right next to High Wycombe station. "

"We were looking for an overnight stay near London outside the M25 to make an easy start driving to Wales. This was excellent value with a good large breakfast included. Interesting old buildings, friendly staff, easy parking. Right on the edge of Cookham which is a beautiful village on the Thames. Plenty of places to eat even on a Sunday evening. I can definitely recommend this rather than the better known towns which are too busy and expensive."

"Shame I had to pay for the carpark as a guest. I know that the cheaper hotels do this but I wouldn’t expect it from your company, especially as there is nothing of significance near to your High Wycombe property. "
