"The house was as described, clean, easy to access to nearest towns. It was about 45 to 50 minutes to Hamburg. They had a lovely cat which treated as on our arrival and when we left. The house is on the river which made our holiday superb. We had our tea every morning in the garden. The house was warm, had a great bath and a modern kitchen."

Die Wohnung ist absolut zu empfehlen und verkehrstechnisch ist man mit der S3 ab Neuengraben in 36 Minuten in Hamburg. Alles ohne Probleme. Die Vermieter sind ganz tolle liebe Menschen und machen das mit soviel Liebe was man in allem merkt. Top ! "

"Ganz einfach gesagt - absolut wunderbar! For all English speakers - absolutely wonderful place to stay for a holiday. If you have not considered Northern Germany, please do. It is a less-traveled place...that begs to be discovered. And if you decide to give it a try, I must recommend this vacation home in the middle of both a vacation neighborhood and in the middle of the Altes Land (amazing history and experience)."

"Pros: Das Haus war genauso ausgestattet, wie in den Bildern beschrieben. Es hatte sogar neuerdings einen Whirlpool, den wir gerne genutzt haben. Der Gastgeber war sehr hilfsbereit und hat auf Fragen direkt reagiert. Es gab selbstgemachte Marmelade, Honig und Apfelsaft aus eigener Herstellung. "Pros: Das schöne Hausboot liegt in einem idyllischen Hafen in Hamburg Harburg. Morgens und nach den Ausflügen in die Stadt konnten wir wunderbar auf dem Boot entspannen. Die Kinder sind schwimmen gegangen und wir haben auf der Dachterrasse gesessen und die Ruhe genossen. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, die wir sehr genossen haben. Perfekte Kombination von Sommer- und Stadturlaub. Cons: Das einzige, woran wir uns etwas gewöhnen mussten, sind die Spinnen. Die gehören zu einem Urlaub im Hafen...

"Fintel is rural on the outskirts of the Lüneburg Heide. The area is beautiful and ideal for walks and bird watching. Frau Anker is an excellent host and the accommodation is as described and met all our needs. There is great attention to detail and many little extras including doing our washing at no extra charge. Only small gripe was the required £50 cleaning fee which was not advertised up front. Highly recommended."

"Es war wirklich toll! Die Kommunikation zwischen unerer Gastgeberin und uns war perfekt. Wir haben direkt vor der Castia einen Parkplatz bekommen und es war eine herzliche und entspannte Begrüßung. Die Casita selber ist mit viel liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Eine schöne küche, mit vielen küchengeräten, die direkt zum kochen eingeladen hat, ein Schaukelstuhl den man sonst nur noch aus alten zeiten kennt war für uns eines der Highlights, so wie auch die Wendeltreppe nach oben.
