"First of all, I have to say one night in Olot is not long enough, but Lia and Enric were fantastic hosts and made sure we made the most of our short visit. "An amazing place. An hour and a half north of Barcelona and very near Ripoli, lies this peaceful and bucolic retreat from the world. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen and views that don’t stop. The lintel over the front door indicates it was built in 1776, but step inside and it’s uncompromisingly modernist – the glass staircase is particularly exciting, and it’s fun to shower in the middle of a big room.
