"We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. A well equipped house and the fresh water pool was a delight. The views are lovely. Arie was a great host (don't forget to ask for directions). A great getaway location with easy access (30 mins by car) to Beaches, Porto, Amarante, River Duoro etc. There is much to do in the area: sight seeing, walking, riding bikes, train ride, swimming in the sea and rivers. Everyone we came across was very friendly. We'd love to come back!"

"Lovely spacious villa with plenty of room for 10-12 people, and lots of dining and sitting space inside, and outdoor space. It was very warm during our stay, and as the villa doesn't have air conditioning it did get warm inside. Some more fans would be useful, as opening windows does increase outside noise. "The house is very comfortable and well equipped. We were 8 adults two children and one small dog in total. While on the ground floor the common area suited the group well, everyone couple/family had its own room and space upstairs. "Stayed for 5 days with my son and one of his friends while attending a competition in Braga. Fit, finish and cleanliness of the villa were all excellent, the gardens were immaculate and the pool was large enough for two teenage boys not to feel constrained. "We had a lovely time staying in this villa. The location is peaceful and quiet. Having a car is recommended to get about to places like Guimareas or Braga and the pool could be much deeper but other than that, we had an amazing experience! The host has superb communication and will help with whatever issues that may occur. The wine from their vineyard (Rosé and White) is very nice. I highly recommend."

"We stayed for 3 nights. Beautiful old house, view of water below was so lovely. Enjoyed the pool but it was a little late in the year so it was just a little cold for us at our age. "The home is in a beautiful, peaceful location. There are many fruit trees, a pond, a swimming pool, and cute farm animals including baby sheep. Our family enjoyed the home and grounds very much. Francisca was a hospitable and gracious host. She gave us a tour of the grounds upon our arrival and provided provisions for breakfast, including eggs fresh from her chickens. We would return again to this home and recommend it to anyone looking for wonderful scenery. Our kids loved it, too!"

"After a few days in Lisbon, we were ready to decompress, and this was just the place to relax. It's in a very small town without many amenities, but there is a great kitchen and supermarket just a few min walk away. The property is immaculate, and very modern. We really appreciated the quiet nights of drinking wine and playing cards, and stretching in the morning with the bright sun and beautiful deck."
