Cozy beach retreat

Great spot to relax at GLP. Maybe the nicest outdoor shower I’ve ever seen. Hosts were great and easy to reach.

Great stay on CT shore at GLP

A charming spacious house with A/C, fully equipped kitchen, gorgeous deck with a hot tub and the nicest outdoor shower I've ever seen. Very easy walk to the beach. Sarah was a very gracious and responsive host and had great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Lots of hiking biking close by and an quick drive to Mystic. The house fit our group of 5 adults comfortably and there's room for more in the second living room with the futon. We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Groton Long Point gem

Our stay was every bit as comfortable as we hoped it would be. Cozy house that allowed us to feel truly "at home" while we enjoyed a perfect summer week exploring Groton Long Point and the SE CT coast. We loved walking along the beach and watching the boats go in and out of the harbor. Very friendly community - not a soul passed on a walk without saying "Hi". It was a treat having Abbott's lobster shack 2 miles away and Mystic just beyond. A day trip to Block Island ended with a dip in the hot tub on the deck! Sarah was a welcoming host and we communicated well prior to the beginning of the week.

Great Find

We stayed at Sarah's property over Labor Day weekend. What a great little area of CT! The house was clean and the perfect size for our group of 5 adults. All the amenities you would need and very clean. We have driven past Groton for years on the way to Cape Cod but never stopped at Groton Long Point. It's a nice beach community with lots beach access and walking areas. The proximity to Mystic and other shoreline areas made for a perfect stay. Thank you Sarah!

Charming home, perfect setting for relaxation

Very relaxing time, all conveniences provided, wonderful back deck with awning which kept the deck shaded. Plenty of room in the house and for parking, quiet neighborhood, AC was a great respite from the summer heat.

Great House in Amazing location!

We were so happy to see a week open up in August in Groton Long Point since it is often hard to find a rental there. The house was absolutely adorable! It was a lot bigger then we thought and had excellent A/C during a heat wave! A lot of houses in GLP do not have A/C. We also loved the very private tree lined patio and backyard. The owner Sarah was very responsive and helpful. We hope to rent again next year.

Ed’s Family getaway

Outstanding host, responsive to any of our needs. Most comfortable relaxing home with all conveniences from a secluded backyard, deck, hot tub and easy walking distance to beach. Couldn’t ask for more, enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Great time in GLP!

The house great, it had all we needed. Easy walk to beach and back for sunsets. Sarah is very accommodating and was available to answer any questions we had. Looking forward to next year.

A wonderful two weeks in GLP!

Our family (two adults and a nine year old) had a wonderful two weeks at this charming and spacious house in GLP. The location is terrific, in spite of not having water views. The house is located just a couple of short blocks to lovely private beaches, tennis, boating, and hiking/walking trails. Great area for biking too. We especially enjoyed hanging out and hosting on the big, beautiful back deck with a hot tub and a brand new grill. Sarah, the property owner, was accessible, responsive and accommodating. She also provided recommendations for activities, areas of interest, day trips, dining, etc. Overall, we had a great family vacation staying at this property.

Perfect place for adults and kids

We loved our stay! And especially liked having the linens and beach towels for us to use, a lovely outdoor shower, and gas grill on a patio (that has as awning and a hot tub). The house itself was charming, cozy, comfortable; the living plants were a beautiful addition; and the TV (with full cable access) was more than we expected. We felt at home from the moment we walked in! Sarah, the owner, was highly responsive to our questions and met all out needs. Our party included three (sometimes four) adults and two children (ages 2 and 5). They loved the place too! The two-year old had no trouble walking to the beach and the cove was a very safe place for the little ones to delight in nature's ocean creatures while experiencing safe waters.
