"As others have stated in their reviews this hotel is under construction and not finished. So be prepared for no parking, loud construction starting at 8am. Construction debris everywhere that my wife tripped on. When i called to ask for my pass code to get in the hotel the hotel representative was very rude, when i asked about parking he stated i was supposed to pay ahead of time, that wasn't an option. He suggested i pay the property manager, however there wasn't one when ask for the passcode...

"Our 3 kids enjoyed the pool and the restaurant was excellent. It was also very handy having the option to reserve your bakery order for pickup each morning along with take out pizzas. Very comfortable 3 nights and the town of Ascona was lovely"

"We stayed for 5 days & enjoyed our stay in the Lake. We were in the top floor apartment which has a lot of stairs to climb, no lift. It is a little noisy as it’s right beside the main road so bring ear plugs as that made it better at night to sleep. The second room in the apartment is difficult to stand in as its ceiling is very low due to being an attic. "We stayed in Apartment 8 for 4 nights are were delighted with all aspects of it. There was plenty of room with both a sitting and dining area, a reasonable size bathroom and small but adequate kitchen with crockery, cutlery and pots, etc. The unit is close to the centre of town, the lake and the station. "We were so pleasantly surprised by this wonderful little hotel! It was beautifully situated by Lake Como, within easy walking distance to the lake. It had a great little kitchen and was steps from a small grocery store that sold delicious food which we prepared and ate on our patio while the church bells chimed. "This hotel was very expensive and highly overrated. The beds were uncomfortable. No amenities in the rooms. Towels were thin and worn and they only gave us 1 towel. We were looking forward to using the pool and sauna but never went nest it after seeing it."
