"This was a pleasant surprise on my last night in the UK. I'd had no luck finding a place in Inverness near the airport and settled here instead. The single room was plenty big for me, the ensuite was a nice touch, and the pub downstairs had surprisingly good food when I was too tired to go back out. "Without question, this was the worst hotel I've stayed in, in years. There was no manager on duty when we arrived (late afternoon - certainly not off-hours), so one of the bartenders had to check us in - and she seemed put out by it. The room had not been cleaned properly; there was a *USED* condom in the bathroom!!!! And, the drain in the *tiny* shower stall didn't work. Again; no manager to be found, so I had to deal with another rude bar server again. They took care of removing the condom...

"Nice house in an ideal location to enjoy the local area. We stayed for a week and the location was great for a some exellent walking, cycling and relaxing. The house is well equipped, warm, comfortable and clean, it has the added bonuis of a lockable outhouse which was good for storing bikes. "Our stay here was brilliant. There is ample space in the home but as the weather was amazing we spent a lot of time outdoors. There are a number of outdoor spaces to be able to enjoy your time separately or together. Loved the swings under the trees for reading and used the fire pit on our last night. The kitchen is a little smaller but managed to do everything we needed to in the space. Hosts were lovely and very accommodating with every request. Would come back again without hesitation."
