"The website said that the location was "Behind the Maire in Savigny". We came off the A89 to head south to Savigny. After traversing many farm tracks and minor roads eventually ending up at Savigny. We could not find the address there behind the Mārie and in desperation rang Madame Boisel for directions from the centre of Savigny. "As advertised and as expected the accommodations was in an old French country farmhouse. This was not the Carlton but it was the experience we were looking for. The owner advertised a washing machine but it was not available. Found a couple of cobwebs, but overall we were satisfied."

"We expected LaChatard to be nice but a fairly basic stopover for our visit to the area however the service, facilities, and restaurant were all fantastic. The restaurant serves a local menu and wine, and the food was beautiful. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The team evidently took pride in their work. Facilities were comprehensive too with a well stocked gym, indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sunbathing area. A great place to stay."
