A touch of magic
This was, simply put, one of the most impressive and memorable places we’ve stayed on vacation. My 8-year-old son, my wife and my mom were all blown away by it — starting with the views. From the back patio, the living room, even the bedrooms, we had a nearly panoramic view of Lake Michigan. We spent hours sitting outside watching the boats pass by, revelers on the beach and the famed Grand Haven sunsets without needing to leave. We could walk across the street to the beach, bypassing parking fees and waits in line when things got crowded. Downtown shops and restaurants were minutes away by car, or could be reached with a short walk. The location could not be beat, though the amenities and cozy touches inside the home were close. Multiple smart TVs, plus an epic record and CD collection, kept us all entertained on the one rainy night we had.
Abbi was an incredible host, having everything impeccably clean for our arrival. She even had frozen pizzas stocked in case we were too tired to cook or go out to eat.
We left all agreeing that it was a magical trip. Our only hope is to make it back to Up-A-Wae soon.
