Very nice property
The property was very nice with superb views. The weather for February was fantastic with sun every day and temperatures in the day averaging 22-23 and one day even We had a big problem with Margot trying to locate where the property was and it was only after a number of texts before we got the necessary information. Once at the property we found that although it was a lovely property it was not only us in the property as there was an apartment below us, but luckily for us it as vacant that week and we didn't have to share the garden and bbq with anyone.Then the problems with the hot water started. Straight away we found that there was no hot water in the kitchen and second bathroom. I spoke to the next door neighbour who tried to sort it but to no avail so we had 2 mature couples sharing one shower. On Monday morning I contacted Margot and someone came later in the day to replace the gas cylinder which didn't cure the problem. He could not sort the problem and a technical person was called and he finally got us hot water at 6.30pm on Tuesday. Wednesday fine both bathrooms with hot water. Thursday am no hot water in main bathroom, still no hot water when we left on Saturday. Our week was most frustrating.

Large homely property.
This is a peaceful relaxing property. Easy access to airport and all the tourist spots. Good value for money restaurant walking distance of the property. Great views and bird watching. This property is great value for money. We loved it.

Beautiful villa with all facilities
We had a very pleasant stay here (april 2017). The house is spacious, very well equipped with all modern kitchen and media facilities and has a really nice atmosphere. The house is in an impressive rural surrounding, close to the sea as well as the mountains, with shops and restaurants nearby. It is also very well accessible for elderly (no high stairs). We had a great barbecue and made good use of the fireplace in the living room. We only had a minor issue with the hot water but that was solved very quickly by the owner (gas bottle was empty :-) ). We can recommend this house to anyone!

Großes Haus mit viel Platz, aber keine Luxusvilla!
Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub im März 18 in diesem Haus. Es liegt etwas versteckt hinter dem Restaurant "El Cordero" nahe El Salto. Es bietet ausreichend Platz sowohl draußen als auch drinnen. Ein neuer Farbanstrich und diverse Renovierungen (fehlende Steine in der Wandverkleidung, fehlende Steckdosenrahmen, fehlende Spots über der Spüle usw.)wären auch mal wieder nötig. Die Stromversorgung funktioniert über zwei kleine Solarplatten auf dem Dach was bei drei Tagen Regen ganz schön kritisch werden kann. Nachts ist es dann bei eingeschalteter Beleuchtung auch sehr dunkel im ganzen Haus weil die wenigen LED-Lampen sehr wenig Licht bringen. Eine neue Waschmaschine wäre auch eine Anschaffung wert. Die vorhandene verrichtet zwar ihren Dienst, sieht aber alles andere als gut aus. Sehr gut war, dass man sein Auto direkt vor dem Haus parken kann. Aufpassen sollte man bei der Reservierung: Uns wurde für vier Personen der Preis für fünf Personen berechnet!!! Auch nach mehrmaligem Mailverkehr wurde dies nicht korrigiert. Also, ein Haus mit Vor- und Nachteilen. Eingeschränkt empfehlenswert.

Keine Villa und auch nicht geeignet für die kälter Jahreszeit.
Schade, dass das warme Wasser im Haus immer noch nicht funktioniert ! In der Küche UND im blauen Bad gab es gar kein warmes Wasser. Einzig im rot-gelben Bad kam warmes Wasser. Leider geht bei der tollen Dusche nur die Handbrause. Alle anderen Düsen sind so verkalkt, dass nur Rinnsale rauskommen. Die Stromversorgung funktioniert auch nicht richtig. Immer wieder kam es zu Stromausfällen, inzwischen kannten wir den Weg im Dunklen zum Sicherungskasten. Einmal sprang der Generator gar nicht mehr an. D.h. wir hatte keinen Strom. Was auch bedeutete, dass wir das Grundstück nicht verlassen konnten, weil das große Tor elektrisch betrieben wird. Margot erklärte uns, wir sollen abends den Radiator nicht anstecken, nicht alle Geräte/alle Lichter. Machen zwei Personen eh nicht - wie soll das mit 6 Personen funktionieren? Sitzen die dann alle ständig im Dunkeln weil in drei Zimmer Licht an ist und die Spülmaschine eingeschaltet wurde? Das Haus war leider auch eiskalt. Ein optisch schöner Kamin im Wohn-/Essbereich reicht bei weitem nicht aus, das Haus zu wärmen. Auch stand nicht genügen Feuerholz zur Verfügung. Wenn im Winter vermietet wird, sollte auch genügend Holz Verfügung stehen. Wir waren im Haus immer mit dicken Jacken bekleidet oder in Decken gehüllt. Bei einem schlimmen Sturm lief das Wasser durch das Fenster im grünen Schlafzimmer, hier tropfte das Regenwasser auch von zwei Stellen von der Decke aufs Bett. Im Wohnzimmer kam das Wasser unter den Terrassentüren rein und auch hier tropfte es an drei Stellen von der Decke. Margot reagiert immer freundlich auf unsere Kontaktaufnahmen und schickte den netten Nachbarn. Aber deswegen sind die Fehler trotzdem nicht behoben. Fazit: Es ist uns sehr unverständlich ein Haus im Winter zu vermieten das derartige Mängel hat. Kaum warmes Wasser - welches schon länger nicht ordnungsgemäß funktionieren zu scheint, wenn man die Bewertungen liest. Ein kaltes Haus ohne entsprechende Möglichkeit dieses anständig warm zu bekommen. Eine Stromversorgung, die nicht auf die Größe des Haus ausgelegt ist und immer wieder ausfällt. Entweder vermietet man in der kalten Jahreszeit nicht, oder man muss das Haus entsprechend ausstatten und aufrüsten. Es ist sehr schade, denn das Haus ist schön eingerichtet und die Küche auch gut ausgestattet. Der Blick vom Patio auf das Meer ist schön. An den Hauswänden links und rechts bröckelt Putz runter und ein Fenster (kein Gästebereich) ist eingeschlagen.

Für den Winter nicht geeignet - außen windig /innen kalte und dunkle Räume .
Der Empfang war sehr nett mit einem kleinen Vorrat für den ersten Abend . Aber das Haus war eiskalt und aufgrund von Sparbirnen in allen Zimmern dunkel . Die ersten Abende haben wir in Winterjacken in der Küche gesessen . Holz für den Kamin gab es in der Tankstelle zu sehr hohen Preisen in ganz kleinen Gebinden . Die Verwalterin war nicht in der Lage uns zu sagen , wo man Holz sonst kaufen konnte.. Zum Glück brachte uns der sehr nette Nachbar wenigstens für einige Tage Holz . Außerdem hatten wir 3 Morgende nur lauwarmes bis kaltes Wasser, da die Gas Therme kaputt war, aber die Verwalterin , die wir nie sahen , unsere Beschwerden erst am 2, Tag ernst nahm.

Big house with beautiful views in quiet surrounding
Nice big house with great views in a rural but convenient location. Quiet but close to supermarkets, airport and highway. Nice fireplace to keep warm as no additional heating heating. No luxury but well equipped with everything we need. Just the warm water doesn’t work everywhere besides Kitchen and (limited) in one bathroom. Still we enjoyed and can only recommend for all who like to stay away from the crowds.

Schönes Haus, alles was man braucht, ruhige Lage, nette und hilfsbereite Vermieterin
Wer die Erholung abseits des Massentourismus an der Südwestküste sucht, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben. Nur ca 15 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt und einer nahezu direkten Anbinung an die Autobahn ist die Lage des Hauses ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die vielen Highlights der schönen Insel zu erkunden. Ich würde die Unterkunft zwar nicht als Luxusvilla bezeichnen, aber Sie bietet und hat alles, was eine gute Ferienwohnung haben sollte - bei einem angemessenen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei und auch sonst gab es keinerlei Beanstandungen. Danke Margot für die Vermietung und Andrea fürs Abholen und die Einweisung im Haus!

Schönes Haus mit traumhafter Übersicht
Das Haus war sehr schön eingerichtet, man merkte dem Haus an, dass es nicht als Ferienwohnung, sondern zur Privatnutzung eingerichtet war. Der Ausblick auf das Meer war entspannend. Einzig die Warmwasseraufbereitung funktionierte nicht in den letzten Tagen nicht, ansonsten ist dieses Haus absolut empfehlenswert.
