"OMG! This place was a hidden gem! It's in a beautiful building, and the room is amazing. It's so comfortable and high-end-looking, and the bathroom is spacious and clean. This was a great place to stay. The restaurant downstairs had really good food. There is a small playground across the street for anyone with children. Front desk woman was so nice and friendly. "

"We had a lovely stay at Aristos Hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious and clean. One downside was the spa hours. Unfortunately, it closed quite early (8pm) and wasn’t open in the mornings, which made it challenging for us to fully enjoy it while also making the most of our time touring the area. It would have been wonderful to have more flexibility to use this amenity. Overall, a wonderful experience though and we would recommend Aristos Hotel for anyone looking for a clean and welcoming place to stay!"

"The Hotel Esplanade is a wonderful Grande Dame of a hotel that was originally built to accommodate passengers from the Orient Express. In 2025 the Esplanade celebrates its 100 year anniversary. All the charm and history remains from that era, but the hotel has been completely renovated and offers all the modern amenities that today's travelers expect. We stayed two nights and were assigned a large, well-appointed room on the fifth floor. Service was excellent and the funishings and public areas of the hotel all speak luxury. Definitely eat in the hotel, both Zinfandel's and Le Bistro are excellent. The Esplanade is an easy walk from the old town and mere steps from the botanical garden which is full bloom during our visit. I would definitely go back."

"This hotel is perfectly located to enjoy all of downtown Zagreb. There are many cafes and restaurant just in front of the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet. The restaurant offers an awesome breakfast buffet. Dining in was also very good. Highly recommended"
