"Wonderful service, shiny and clean, would definitely stay here again the one and only complaint, is that the frig in our room had a very loud hum that sounded like a lawnmower and kept us awake. When we mentioned this at check.out all i got was "uh huh" and he took my keys."

"Attending Goderich for memorial of a friend who passed away suddenly. Normally check in is 4 pm. Wife wanted to find out if early check in was available in order to change before start of memorial which was at 3 pm. Called hotel diectly, explained situation and representative at front desk told us 230 p check in would be ok. Next day front desk told me check in not till 4 pm. Told him to check notes for check in, reluctantly he did and saw 230 time and said it was busy and earliest check in wasn't available till 3 pm. He was not very amenable and brash. You would think after checkouts staff would look for early check in request and prioritize those rooms which Is probably not that frequent.. "

"It's an older country property, so I couldn't justify a 5 star rating for Property Condition & Facilities, so I gave a 4 star rating. But everything else was excellent. Friendly staff at check-in, even offered a room upgrade without charging more for a superior room! The room was very clean and comfortable, everything we needed for a quick overnight stay. The room price was quite reasonable and I'd go back again if we were in the area."
