"It is a really fabulous historic building that has been restored to it's former glory. The apartment is on the upper floor and covers the whole floor. So it is latge and comfortable with a small backyard looking balcony. We really enjoyed our stay. A backery is just around the corner and downtown Elmshorn just a few minute walk away. The Hosts are very friendly and welcoming and accommodating. Could not have asked for better hosts. We loved it!"

"The house was as described, clean, easy to access to nearest towns. It was about 45 to 50 minutes to Hamburg. They had a lovely cat which treated as on our arrival and when we left. The house is on the river which made our holiday superb. We had our tea every morning in the garden. The house was warm, had a great bath and a modern kitchen."

"Die Lage ist optimal für Spaziergänge an der Elbe (Haus liegt direkt am Deich) und ausgedehnte Radtouren durch die Obstfelder. In dem sauberen Haus ist alles nötige vorhanden. Nur der Eingang zur kleinen Küche ist mit ca. 1,60m sehr niedrig. Sie entspricht eher einer Kombüse auf dem Schiff, doch bei dem Namen des Hauses "Zwischendeck" passt das natürlich. Ein Sessel im Wohnzimmer hätte uns auch gefallen. Aber wir haben uns dort trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt (bis auf die Blessuren am Kücheneingang)."
