"The Inn has an antiquated toilet- the type where the water tank is up high then you pull a chain to flush. Light fixture in the bathroom is a chain pull as well. Although old everything worked as it should. The food at the Inn was especially good. Good value accommodation. "

"Our room was clean and comfortable - very charming. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Loved the quaint atmosphere - the meals in the gastropub were very tasty. The only concern we had is that the bed was a little too hard for us and the pillows too soft - but features like that are very subjective so that might not be a problem for you! The Inn is situated on a main road so can get very busy at times. Our room did overlook the road but once the window was closed and blinds drawn it was quieter. Again, didn’t bother us but something to keep in mind if you need peace & quiet. All in all a lovely place to spend a few nights and/or a lovely meal "
