"This was a nice, quaint hotel, steeped in history. Our room in the conference centre was quite spacious, modern and clean, with what appeared to be a freshly renovated bathroom. Note that there is no air conditioning, so it may be uncomfortably warm in the summer months. The buffet breakfast was modest but decent, and the 2 dinners we enjoyed in the restaurant were excellent. Overall we had a lovely stay."

"Really lovely hotel - excellent quality, with superb rooms with aircon and The White Company toiletries in the en-suite. Great breakfast, and lovely friendly staff. The only downside to this hotel is that they charge guests £6 to park, and also £15 per guest to use the swimming pool! Crazy when the rooms cost £160 per night. Come on KPH - don’t let yourself down on these points when otherwise the stay is top class. Where else really do you expect your guests to park? Otherwise, a great stay."
