"This guesthouse will bring you back into another timeline. There are so many interesting history pictures and pieces on the walls, it’s really neat to see. It’s a lovely old building that reminds me of anyone’s grandparents house. With it being older though, it’s a little outdated and not in the greatest shape. The carpets are quite dirty and stained but we had no problem wearing socks and just looking past it. The shower and bathrooms are quite small. There are plenty of common areas and places to hang out. "

"Spacious rooms with wonderful staff who were incredibly accommodating. Great little bar and restaurant with good food and breakfast. This place felt wonderfully remote and away from it all. During our stay there was construction going on out our window which is the only negative for our time there. "

"One of our favorite stays in Iceland! We arrived pretty late into the night but there was no hassle checking in. Room was clean, bed was comfy! Take advantage of the hot tub, it was a treat soaking under the northern lights. To top it all off, a delicious complimentary breakfast buffet."
