"Our holiday at Villa VerdeBlu was brilliant. The villa was exactly as it is pictured in the listing. The views are beautiful and watching the sunset from the top floor every evening before dinner was amazing. Our 2 girls both enjoyed the pool every day and it was warm enough to still be in there on an evening while the BBQ was cooking. Maria the Host of Villa Melodia took the time to meticulously decorate both the inside and outside of the Villa. "Die Lage und das Appartement haben mir gefallen. Die Reinigungskraft war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Appartement war groß und für die Familie gut dimensioniert. Das war der positive Teil. folgende Probleme hatte ich mit dem Appartement und dem Vermieter:- der Sonnenschirm auf der Terrasse war kaputt- der zweite Ventilator im Zimmer war kaputt (Bild angehängt)- in beiden Bädern lief das Wasser aus der Toilette, dem Abfluss aus dem Waschbecken und den Wasserhähnen, so dass der Boden...

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig geschnitten und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Nicht alles ist ganz neu, aber das unterstreicht den Charme des Hauses. Highlights waren für uns die große mit Wein überwachsene Terrasse und die vielen schattigen Plätzchen, z.B. unter dem Orangenbaum am Pool. Klitzekleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Matratzen in den Betten waren für uns eher hart, das ist sicher Geschmackssache. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert."

Der nächst größere Ort Plakias ist zwar nur 15km aber auf der kurvigen Strecke 30min entfernt. Das Haus hat eine geschmackvolle Einrichtung, ein großes bequemes Bett und volle Küchenausstattung. "My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"Unzureichende Klimaanlagen. Desolates Internet. Mangelhafte Sauberkeit, wie zum Beispiel fleckige Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Unhygienische und funktionsgestörte Toilettenanlagen. Nicht schließende Türen. Unfreundliche Kommunikation mit Vermieter und Personal. Als uns die Nachbarn von Bettwanzen in ihrer Unterkunft berichteten, sind wir kurzerhand abgereist. "Staff was great we enjoyed the food I think the main draw back was it’s a very popular spot on hot days and there isn’t designated parking for people staying at the resort, so sometimes when we would come back it was really hard to find a parking spot"
