"The hotel is well maintained, exceptionally clean, has wonderful linens. We stayed in an upstairs room with very narrow winding staircase with no handrails. Difficult to navigate as we are a senior couple. The room was small, but well appointed. However, the peaked ceiling did not allow for a complete wall between the bedroom and bathroom and afforded little privacy. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating. "This is a very unique place to stay that oozes character. It is in a tiny community but has many options for entertainment at the hotel. The man who runs it is very responsive to needs. The place is decorated with a great sense of humor and an incredible movie theme. I used the location as a base to go in all four directions. It is do-it-yourself on meals but that suited me fine."

"I think it's comfortable, clean, and in a good location. I think check-in could be better, currently it's only between 4-6pm which is super difficult but the proprietor accomodated me at 2:30pm. The room was clean but the shower head was broken and the bed was ok."
