We enjoyed staying here, and our daughter (8) really liked the hot tub! Didn't get lucky enough to see the bears, but enjoyed the location and accommodations.
My wife wasn't a fan of the drive up, but after a few times you start to find your way!

We loved the Christmas Bear cabin. Cabin is exactly as described and pictures are exactly how it appears in person. Guy was very responsive to our questions. The mountain is steep in some areas. The views are beautiful and you’re close to the city. We loved it!

Guy was easy to work with. Answered all of our questions quickly. Also gave us a very detailed list of things to know about the cabin, which was very clean and spacious. It also had everything we needed. The view was spectacular and we had visitors in the bear and cub verity almost every night. We would be happy to stay here again.

Close encounters with bears made it exciting. Hot tub wouldn't warm up, but that's not why we came. Scary drive up, but we're from flat Florida. Great time!

Guy, just wanted to thank you so much for letting us stay at your wonderful cabin. Everything was accurate and very clean. Best towels in bathroom by far and the hot water was awesome. Wont say that I wasn't scared to come out and see that it has snowed a little and wondered if I would make it down the "mountain" and all the twisty roads. Cant wait to stay here in the spring and summer. Beautiful place and awesome views!!!

Had a great experience, the owner was great to work with. I would definitely recommend arriving back at the cabin before dark. The winding mountain roads can be tricky. The driveway is a bit steep, but no major issues with it. The kitchen had everything we needed. the cabin was very spacious.

My husband and I enjoyed our time at this property.
The cabin is decorated beautifully, and it's very convenient to everything. It was very peaceful and relaxing on the Mt. and yet when we wanted to go to the National park, or Gatlinburg it was a short drive. The road was scary at first, but beautiful to drive, and we got used to it very quickly. We saw a lot of bears both at the cabin, on the road, and on the trails. We left them alone and they never bothered us.

We had some interesting days while we were staying here...It's a very clean and beautiful cabin! We were very lucky we had our truck! Needed 4WD to get up the driveway and to manuever the mountain roads! We very much enjoyed our week here--the owners were very easy to communicate with and promptly handled our issues! And we got to see a bear wander up the driveway!
