Bear Creek 167 - Enjoy peaceful, lush views and a jetted tub!

Travel to explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, ski on the snowy slopes at Ober, and dine at Southern favorites in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, then retreat to Bear Creek 167 in Village Stream Condos. You'll have an overlook of a running creek from the balcony, a charming fireplace to keep cozy in cooler months, an indoor jetted tub for romantic baths with your partner, and community access to a splashy pool in summer at this 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo for up to 4 guests.

Get cozy in the living room with your favorite DVD playing on the flatscreen TV and bowls of popcorn on the coffee table. Toss a few logs into the wood burning fireplace if it's chilly outside, typically enjoyed with mugs of cocoa and a good book or a friendly chat. Fancy cookouts on nice days? Utilize the community picnic area that has charcoal grills for guest use. Of course, you can always curb cravings by preparing meals in the fully equipped kitchen. There's also a charming table for 2, great for romantic dinners.

Ready to relax? Sway in the rocking chairs or sip morning coffee at the table on the balcony every morning as the creek rushes along below. You can tap into the free high speed Wi-Fi to video chat with friends and family. Or draw a hot bubbly bath in the indoor jetted tub that's nestled by the living room so you can enjoy the tree-studded scenery from the tub. Afterward, slip into your PJs and into the queen-size bed or queen-size sleeper sofa for a good night's sleep at Bear Creek 167.

Community pool access is provided and managed through a third party. Host is not liable for amenity availability, maintenance, downtime, or pool closures under any circumstances.

This property was great!! Very close to the downtown area, lots of parking, and the room was clean and just as expected after looking at the pictures. Was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend.

The condo was clean! We really enjoyed being away from all the hustle and bustle at the end of the day. Was quiet, peaceful and relaxing! The waterfalls were beautiful! We really enjoyed the jacuzzi in our condo! Was relaxing after a long day of activities! Could use a little bit of updating but not a game changer! Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay.

Nice place to stay. Pricy for a motel basically. The images make it look like you get a cabin in the woods to yourself but there are others. Internet went out every night. Had to restart the router multiple times. Overall a good stay just expensive for what it is.

If your looking for a comfortable room.. keep looking. The one bed completely worn out. The sheets were dirty and extremely uncomfortable. It was to our understanding that it was walking distance to the strip.. not true. Back to the bedroom.. no ceiling fan radio outdated and no tv. The lighting was also bad.

Horrible experience! The "cabin" turned out to be a old apartment building, dingy at best. While it said twice in the listing it was a cabin and that we would have the "whole cabin" it was not. The "condo" itself was dirty, a diaper left from the last people on floor, chips in hot tub, and the last people's hair in tub, sink, and counters. The bed was so old I couldn't even find manufacturer information, horribly uncomfortable. The couches were ripped up and in terrible shape. Dirty dishes. Shower curtain covered in mildew. Tried calling, took 3 days to finally speak to a manager and they at first offered me 65 dollars, finally have back 100, not even enough to cover a 1 night stay. There is more, but I think you get the point, I'd suggest getting a cabin elsewhere, I've been coming to gatlinburg area for years and never had a company be so callous and a place in such poor shape, deplorable.

After I checked in, a girl came walking in without knocking and started taking pictures. TV was not working and reported by her and by me 3 other times, no one came. Dirty dishes in cabinet, had to wash before using.

The pictures of the property and the price drew me in to inquire further. The owner/manager who ever is in charge of responding to questions about the property was extremely slow or non responsive altogether. I ended up plucking down the entire cost without any of my questions answered. I am mobility limited and had need for more info than most. Luckily my gamble was a good one. Bear Creek 167 was just like the pictures. AND was on the middle level ( ground level)! I did not have to maneuver stairs. There is no elevator. The creek ran under the building right outside our balcony. Beautiful! I love the sounds of running water. The balcony itself was smaller than made to appear in photos, as was the rest of the condo. But with my disability it worked to my advantage. The bed was comfy. And a true queen. The couches on the other hand were worn and in need of TLC. Especially the plaid one. It was very uncomfortable to sit on. It was a hide-a-bed, and although we never opened it, it seemed to not have anything to offer support to the seating of the couch. The tan one was a good sitting couch for those with shorter stature. The jacuzzi tub in the living area was super clean and inviting. The kitchen area had everything we needed for our stay. The wifi was extremely limited. No wifi in bedroom. And also towards balcony. The lighting was a mystery. Nothing was labeled. A couple switches seemed to run nothing. And some power boxes were split top and bottom. I found charging an on again off again thing until I got that figured out. The large standing lamp with bear was broken apparently until we tried to light it up. Since it would balance on top we just put it back as found and moved on. Overall my daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The building is up and away from the chaos of the strip. The roads are well paved and smooth. But like most places in that area, the twists and turns can be stressful (especially at night). We will recommend it to friends and family. Please label all switches and outlets for the convenience of guests.

The “cabin” looked like the picture but they didn’t really include the fact that the pool wasn’t going to be open, even though every other pool in Gatlinburg was open. The WIFI also would not work for us the entire time and the customer service number rang and rang. There was also no actual office from what we could see, the sign pointing to office led to a dead end. We stayed at a hotel in Downtown Gatlinburg for a third of the cost the first night and we will be staying there again. Being up in the mountain was cool but not worth the price, really

The cabin was nice. It was far enough away to be away from the tourists but close enough that the drive to town was easy. The wifi was kinda terrible though. You could only use the wifi next to the router and the wifi kept going in and out.

Given the positive reviews we were disappointed by the overall state of the unit. The furniture was very dated and in poor condition. One of the living room couches especially was ragged and dirty. The unit was full of decor that had obviously not been cleaned for quite a while (many dust catchers, in particular artificial plants, were bad for any allergies) In particular, the blinds fell down the first time we opened them. The stopper in the bathroom sink did not work properly and the varnish on doors was peeling. The balcony sliding door and the screen were very hard to move and the lock was broken. Two out of place barstools were in the bedroom but no nightstands. On the positive side the kitchen and refrigerator were very clean and the blinds, the sink stopper and lock were fixed the next day. The check in process was fine and the door lock worked well. Overall we were disappointed by the general condition of the unit. We would not recommend this unit unless it has been thoroughly updated.
