Former Tower in Tuscany for 4 People

The small ancient village of Catignano, 4 km from Gambassi Terme, is the location of this characteristic medieval tower which has been completely restored and turned into a charming home.

The tower, dating back to the 11th century, is situated right at the end of the village and enjoys a panoramic position with open views across the beautiful tuscan countryside with olive-groves, vineyards and rolling hills.

The property is divided into two units: the Tower and the Loggia, they can be rented together but not separated and the garden will be always for private use.

The Garden is placed on a terrace below the property with a wonderful cooking/dining area inside the hill.
Here you can enjoy your meals and take a sunbath.

Inside the tower, tastefully fitted and furnished, accommodation is split on three levels.
Before the house a kind of terrace (garden) with loungers and a built-in outdoor kitchen with barbecue and pizza oven.

Schöner Turm
Ideales Quartier für Ausflüge zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Toskana, sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, sehr ruhige Lage, und der Turm lädt mit dem großen Garten und einem traumhaften Blick in die hügelige Landschaft zum Verweilen ein. Der Turm und die Zimmer sind wunderschön eingerichtet und vermitteln ein mittelalterliches Flair. Im nahegelegenen Certaldo kann man kostenlos parken, um die größeren Städte mit dem Zug erreichen zu können. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt!

Antik kann ja auch bequem und sauber sein
Vermieter sehr freundlich, Empfang hektisch , Unterkunft sehr speziell vor allem dunkel. Ausstattung der Küche sehr spartanisch- 1Kaffeelöffel ! Keine Weingläser oder Schnapsgläser. Wasserkocher sowie das gesamte Geschirr und Besteck waren nicht sauber. Gewürze etc.. im Schrank mit MHD 2006. Die Kaffeemaschine war eine Pad Maschine und auch sehr ungepflegt. Das Mobiliar augenscheinlich antik und kaum nutzbar. Sämtliche Stühle und Bänke wackelig. Auch dem versprochenen Pizzaofen fehlte das nötige Equipment ( Schieber) Die Couch nicht zu benutzen, TV nur Italienische Sender. Abrechnung der NK fragwürdig. Anfahrt direkt ans Haus nicht möglich ( Strasse sehr schlecht) Die Lage ist schön und die Aussicht auch. Florenz, Sienna und Pisa nicht weit. Zum Meer 90Autominuten.

Herzliche Atmosphäre mit Toskanablick
Das historische Haus über drei Stockwerke besitzt viel rustikalen Charme und mit seiner "Dunkelheit" drinnen genau das Richtige für die gleißende Toskana. Die Lage ist ruhig am Ende einer Straße. Der Garten ist groß mit schönem Ausblick, Olivenbäumen, Grill, Pizzaofen und Wasseranschluss. Die Vermieter/Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und herzlich.

Es war ein wunderbarer erholsamer Sommerurlaub
Wir wohnten, abgesehen von den modernen Annehmlichkeiten wie Bäder, Kühlschrank, Herd ..., wie im Mittelalter. Der mit viel Liebe und Schaffenskraft aufgebaute und restaurierte Turm bot eine anheimelnde Umgebung für einen perfekten Urlaub.

Wunderschön!
Wir haben hier eine wunderschöne Frühlingswoche verbracht. Alles da, alles gut. So schön im Garten, tolle Abende mit Pizza aus dem urigen Pizzaofen. Und die ganze Zeit so lieb umsorgt und freundlich begleitet vom Eigentümer.
