Renovated beach house just steps to the beach, beach access private to walk on and no cars allowed on beach. Play and fish on the beach with no traffic. Family friendly neighborhood amenities include a pool, bar and grill, store and bait shop. Beautiful stretch of beach. Enjoy covered patio and open floor plan with extensive beach views, downstairs bar and kitchenette area with outdoor shower, bathroom, tv, and grill. Remodeled interior furnished with modern furniture and was featured on HGTV. Well equipped kitchen includes keurig, percolator, and espresso machine. TV's with cable access in each bedroom. Kids will enjoy loft area. Nice, comfortable mattresses.

Beautiful Home

This home is fabulous! I love the set up of the rooms in the back and porch in front for us early risers! Having a bathroom and kitchen and shower downstairs is a HUGE blessing! Highly recommend!

Great Location

House was nicely decorated & had plenty of kitchen stuff to cook with and dishes. I personally didn't like having so many things left in the refrigerator and pantry(left by other guest I guess). Enjoyed the covered porch but needed some TLC in some areas.

Great rental with oceans and steps from the beach

The home is updated and nicely decorated. It is positioned the second row of homes from the beach so it had beach views and steps away from the beach. The beach access between the beachfront house was right across from the house and it made it easy to bring stuff from the house to the beach. The kitchen had a lot of the appliances one would need to cook or heat up anything. It had kuerig and coffee maker. Good Wi-Fi and cable in every room. The bunk room in the loft area was fun for our kids. Overall a nice place at a good location. Would stay again in the future.

Quick getaway

My family and I had a great time in Galveston. This house was so close to the beach and it was wonderful for kids because it wasn’t a drive on beach! Another plus was having a shower and bathroom on the ground floor which made it easy for quick trips back and forth! The loft was fun for the kids and the bedrooms were nice (minus the king bed seemed a little wonky). The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed the beach view! Side note don’t leave anything on the beach overnight… we had left a tent set up (trying to make life easier the next day for my senior parents) and it was gone by 6 am the next morning when they went to go fish. Apparently, there is a new city ordinance that started this spring… we were unaware and unfortunately lost a tent in the process. Overall, we had a great family trip and we would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice trip to Galveston away from the crowds.

Near perfect vacation

The house was great! The bar downstairs was fun and allowed the night owls to not bother the early risers. The beach-facing porch was where we spent most of our free time when not at the beach or in town. The water was still warm and the weather was great. Some of the beach chairs were rusted but at the end of the season that was to be expected. The loft upstairs went unused due to it being open to the house. It would be perfect for kids, but not for light sleepers like me. The hot water accomodated 6 adult showers with no problem. Plenty of towels and linens, even a few beach towels. Other guests have left behind coffee, condiments, and oter spices, which was helpful until a run to the store could be made. There were plenty of bakeware, cookware, and utensils available. The only suggestions I have would be towel hooks in bathrooms or bedrooms for wet towels- there is one in the hall, which we utilized; and a note in the listing about the pool schedule (it closed after Labor Day.) If we ever come back to Galveston, I would definitely check to see if this property was available. The host, Thomas, was very quick to respond to all of my questions, before and after arrival.

Super awesome beach house! The pictures showed exactly how the house is in person.

The house is super comfortable, beach access couldn’t be more convenient, and Thomas was an amazing host, answering all our questions within minutes. Definitely would stay again.

Great time Just Steps from the Beach

Though it was a 2nd row house it’s just steps to the beach and a clear view of the beach and waves. The owner Thomas was super responsive and friendly. The home was very nice and full of amenities. Cable TV in each room and a fun loft that sleeps two that the kids will get a big kick out of.
