"We spent very nice vacation days at Lake Como. The apartment is located in a house built into the mountain. Therefore, you have to climb some stairs to get to the apartment, but then you are rewarded by a beautiful apartment with a fantastic view. We felt very comfortable."

It didn't help there was a major heat wave in Italy the time we were staying but the property mgr brought us an additional 2 fans to help as apt is without a/c. "The view from this property is just spectacular. It has a comfortable and large balcony/deck. The bright living room is surrounded by windows which provides for breath taking views. The property itself is in a great neighbourhood, well placed for access to Stresa and surrounding area. There is a nice trail if you want to walk into town and it takes about 20 minutes."

"We enjoyed the house and the location. The 150 stair steps between the parking and the house are really for fit people, and travelling light is highly recommended. However, once you are up, you really appreciate the view and the calm. You can appreciate a comfortable house in pure sixties style, very cool. The kitchen is small but generously equipped - as avid cooks we appreciated all that was there. We visited the house at the end of January, so the fabulous terrace and the sunlounging space...
