"Excellent stay only 20 mins drive from the historic town of Guimaraes. We had a beautiful double room with a fantasic view down into the valley. The gardens are beautiful, breakfast includes fresh orange juice from the orange trees in the garden. Claudino is very generous with his time and knowledge. "

"The family that runs this property is fabulous! They could not do enough for us the entire stay! Breakfast every morning was exceptionally good - fresh baked pastries every day, fresh fruit, eggs, omelets, meats, cheeses, and the best fresh orange juice! Beautiful property and family!"

"Staying in this immaculate watermill property, in such a unique location, with the waterfall running through it and beautiful surroundings, kept so well by Jorge and his wife. All of the facilities you may need, with a nice big pool. Less that 10 minutes from the lovely town of Caminha - we highly recommend this property and had a wonderful holiday. Thank you Jorge."

The property is impeccable maintained with an ideal location only a few minutes East of Braga, 30 minutes from the mountains, and about an hour to the beach. Maria was very attentive to all of our needs and a great host."

"Beautiful property in an ancient building what’s the hospital section of the church that’s right next-door there’s a pharmacy. Also attached to the church on the other side so that’s convenient. Dead center to all the restaurants and beautiful churches. Breakfast service was amazing. Only caveat is they have a policy where the servers have to pour your coffee when you have a sudden influx of 20 people in the servers are busy supplying the food stations. It’s very frustrating. They really need to trust the people can pour their own coffee. Overall, Staff was amazing. Beds were comfortable showerhead plenty of heat and good water pressure. I would stay again."
